Hi all,

I have downloaded oracle 10g express edition. I have tried to connect forms 6i in that in windows xp environment but when i tried to connect it is not connecting and giving "don't send" error.

If there is any patch to connect forms 6i into oracle 10g express edition.

Please give immediate solution

Thanks

Govindarajan

Have you solved your problem?

Why not use Forms 10g with 10g XE? Have you got the database running? Can you access it using SQL*Plus? What is the exact error message that you are getting from Forms 6i? Did you update the Forms tnsnames.ora and listener.ora files after you installed the Forms software?

Sorry that I have been so long in replying. Have you solved your problem?

I suggest that you use the 'tns_admin' environment variable so that you have to maintain only one copy of the 'tnsnames.ora' file.
