Respected sir,
Is it possible to display lines amongst records of lov e.g i have an lov showing names of items and i want to seperated those names and other records with line.I want to display horizontal and vertical lines just like ms excel.

I should have been more clear. I mean that you create your own lookup window. This can be an extra window+canvas+block in the existing form or a separate form. At our shop, people tend to use the first solution. They add an extra window that pops up instead of the LOV and that allows the user to search in a more flexible way than a standard LOV would allow.
