hi all,
please can anybody tell me how to assign a select qury to
the lov at runtime

Use the Set_Lov_property to redefine the group_name to a different record group.

If you want to 'really' change the query then build your our record group.

Before replying 'how do I do that', please search this forum for 'lov' and 'record group' and 'record_group'. Also consider reading the reference manual.
