Dear Sir,

I have installed the oracle & d2k in two different folders on the hard disk. I want to do the connectivity of D2k with oracle but at that time Net8 Config is not open. NO error, no action is done when i click on Net8 Easy Config. I dont know what is the reason. Is there any other way to configure D2k with Oracle.

Please it is urgent.

So that means your can SQL*Plus into the database and perform DDL work and do queries eg "Select * from dual;". Correct?

Net8 I don't know ... someone else will have to answer that for you. What do you use the Net8 for?

Ah ... I call it SQL*Net ... okay, now we have that straight. What makes you think it isn't working? Perhaps because forms can't sign-on to the database? Have you got matching tnsnames.ora in the two Oracle environments? Search this forum for 'tnsnames' .. there are many (there might even be FAQ on it).
