Hi,

I have a database block. Having two fields. as we select the
province from one list its related cities are populated in other list. Problem is that in Oracle Forms 6i when we have list item of type poplist. It generates error on selection of value from one list. as we write code in when-list-changed triger of first List.

Why it happens so?
Any solution to this problem
Another thing that forms creates a null record in list by default. How to avoid it

Do you have to use a poplist? If you use an LOV then you can base the population of the second list on the first list.

If you HAVE to use a poplist then search this forum for 'poplist' there are quite a few solutions detailed.
