Dear

I am calling a procedure on exit of form. but it does not release the control unless that procedure is complete. form does not exit unless the procedure is completed.

i want to call procedure and want the form to exit immediatly and let the procedure continue but my form should exit immediatly.

is there any way to let the procedure continue and let it take time what so ever it takes but form should immediatly exit without waiting the completion of the procedure.

regards.

Schedule the procedure as a job. It means that you'll have to move the procedure code from a form into a database (so that it will be a stored procedure).
