Hello. I have a master/detail block in a form in which I need to refresh the data in the detail block after information is entered into the table in which the detail block is based. I'm not expecting the user to click a button to refresh this data. Any ideas as to how I can do this? Thanks.

You can use execute_query when your required.
For autometically query or refresh data u must have use Timer.
