1)Which version you are using?
2)did you search before posting?
3)Display images in forms using button? or Button trigger(whenyou click on it,it should display or it should insert?
4) what exactly your requirement?

I have forms 10g

my requirement is :

suppose that you create a new forms and create a new button

in this form now i want to put an image in this button

insteat of leav it blank or write text can you help plz.

hi,

I saw many solution about my post no one said my problem was

solved

If you try to help this is what i did :

1- I create a folder (c:\icons) and I put all the icons .gif file
in this folder
2- i create a jar file by this code
D:\DevSuiteHome_1\jdk\bin\jar.exe -cfv icons.jar *.gif
then I copied this file icons.jar in this folder
D:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\java
3-I go to this file formsweb.cfg and modify this tow parameter:
- imagebase=codebase

- archive_jini=frmall_jinit.jar,icons.jar
4-In the folder
D:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\java\oracle\forms\registry
I open the Registry.dat file by Notepad and change
(default.icons.iconextension=) to (gif) extension the result
should be (default.icons.iconextension=gif).

In the same file Registry.dat also I change this parameter
from (default.icons.iconpath=oracle/forms/icons)
to (default.icons.iconpath=icons)

please if i mess something please advice

Hi David,

thanks for reply, I solve my problem. I made a mistake in
Icon Filename property. I wrote the full path of gif file,
when I should just write the file name without path and without
extension
