i want to pass parameters from xyz form to abc form when i press a button.
please help me
how to pass parameters.....

do you have a parameter 'PM_ID' in your second form??

in pre-form assign PM_ID To ID

My second form contains pm)id parameter.
could you please tell me clearly iam new to forms.
how to assign pm_id to id in pre-form

Open Forms Online Help System and read "A Comparison of Global, Parameters, and Package Variables". Then read "Passing Parameters to Forms". Follow links available in these documents. Perform additional search for "parameter" or any keyword you are interested in.

there is an invno field in the first form same field in the 2nd form. i need to create a parameter to pass the invno value to the 2nd form so that i can retrive data of this invno in the 2nd form. do i need to create the param field in the called form or calling form. please update.
